Day 2 - Perfect

Welcome to day 2!

To start the origami crane count, there are 6 beautiful paper cranes, each with a special wish/message inside. I wanted to add these wishes/messages to the cranes that I'm making so that they become more meaningful. As I sit here listening to KAT-TUN's new song, Perfect, I am able to think of many wishes and hopes and dreams that I have for the future. I hope that through these cranes, they are all able to come true.

The beginning

Hi!
So, I recently got this blog just for some uni thing, just to test it out and see what it was... but now I'm actually going to use it.

I don't know who can read this, or if anyone will, but it will sort of become a diary, of sorts.

You see, I am going to start, or well, have started a project.

When I was in primary school, I read this book about this girl in Japan who had leukemia. Her friends and classmates decided to help her in whichever way they could, so they decided to make her 1000 paper cranes. In Japanese legend, this is supposed to make your wish come true. Having read that story in grade 5, I still remember it clearly, and think of it often.

I may not have an illness, or injury, but I believe that, if I am able to make 1000 paper origami cranes, each with a speical wish in it, hopefully my life will become one with more meaning. I used to think I lived a plain boring life, but there are so many things I want to accomplish in my life, so many people I wish I will make a positive impact on, and so many people I wish that I will be able to help. I want a happy life, filled with love and friendship, and though I feel stuck at this point in time, I want to move on and make a start on that life I wish for myself.

So, with this as Day 1, I will endevour to make 1000 paper origami cranes.

Wish me luck!
